He, along with Daniel Whitmore, was arrested for murdering Peter Robson (Archie). Apparently, the two murdered Peter, a much-loved father, in November 2019 in Glegg Street Hostel.
Furthermore, Mayers and Whitmore had assaulted the 59-year-old and went to play snooker and visit a bar. And the motive of the attack and eventual murder was Robinson’s vulnerability and frailties.
